The only other Archimedes emulators are Arculator http://b-em.bbcmicro.com/arculator/ and RPCEmu http://www.marutan.net/rpcemu/, met the author a couple of months ago. This focuses on later models so doesn't support Risc OS 3, but Arculator does.

yeah, there were working AA emulators even back when I had a 400mhz processor. The slot machines would be a first tho and there are definitely a lot of people waiting on those.

Maybe not the most exciting 'first' for the majority if that happens but if we're honest all the things most people would consider exciting are either already done or not viable MAME targets (or if they are MAME targets, not going to run at a speed that excites anybody)

My first Acorn Archimedes emulator was RedSquirrel for Windows.
Another emulator: ArcEm

like on my a410/1 ;-)

can you when you share screenshot, also share the commandline you use for that ?

thanks in advance

To reproduce my configuration run ./mame64 a310 and wait for the supervisor prompt

The first time you need to configure some parameters in the CMOS RAM

I have used these commands (only the first is really necessary):
CONFIGURE MODE 35
CONFIGURE FILESYSTEM ADFS
CONFIGURE RAMFSSIZE 10
CONFIGURE FLOPPIES 2

then reset the machine and when you get to the supervisor prompt again use the DESKTOP command.

Next time you need only the DESKTOP command.

The GMX Micro-20 with a little hacking and a quick 68020 cache feature fix now is... angry at the 68230 PIT. But hey, that's more than it did before smile

That's much more useful than the r3 and r4 guides from 1981 that I was looking at.
