Yeah, that's what I meant. I thought it looked strange after seeing the other versions. So then, it's accurate. Nice.

I'm amused how different all the versions are; the IIgs, ST, and PC-98 all appear to be based on the same assets (in downgraded form for the PC-98), but the rest are pretty much anything goes.

Also, the Game Boy Color release seems to be based on the Windows version, of all things!

That makes some sense, actually. The GBC came out in 1998, at which time the only "source" version that would've easily run on then-modern computers was the Windows 3.x one (which would've run fine on Win 9X).

There's also a korean clone for MSX from Zemina, named Super Boy. Unofficial, and quite bad... you can actually jump past the end of level flag

Thanks crazyc and Luengo, I didn't knew these versions before
Also, I forget to mention, but there are some G&W games vaguely based in SMB, which aren't in MAME yet...
But with the incredible progress made in this kind of systems by people working on it, such as hap and seanriddle, I wouldn't be surprised to see them preserved in MAME soon smile
It's serious, thank you guys!

Some years ago, Derboo over at HG 101 also dug up evidence that SMB Special was also ported to the Korean SPC-1500.

Would be awesome if somebody could find this one and dump. At least Samsung SPC-1500 already has a driver in MAME smile
