Am curious as to where you found Designer's Pencil for the BBC/Electron as it's not softlisted. The Electron version will look different from the screenshot you posted. The only copy I can find is a tape to disc conversion as it was never released on disc.

and here's an old game which got a few ports to different systems: Evolution.
Note the names of the designers who went on to found Distinctive Software and kickstarted the Vancouver video game industry.

Amory Wong who did the C64 port was a long-time employee at Distinctive Software / EA Canada as well.

And given that shipping a game on everything at once became something of a DSI trademark it's nice to see it started early.

Here's Red Moon, the third graphical adventure of British company Level 9.
It was later re-released as part of the Time & Magik trilogy together with Lords of Time and The Price of Magik. This moved the game also to 16bit and disk based systems, which included fewer but higher quality graphics on most computers. Some ports and all tape versions were text only then.

Amstrad PCW. Game works, I don't know if you can get a clear snapshot with the (NON-WORKING)driver.
8xxx machines also are using white monochrome instead of green which was the real default.

PC Curiously, this one and the Mac port misses the forest graphic., they keep showing the one from the start.

Time & Magik versions not shown because of crashes/glitches
Atari 8bit: Can't get it to show anything game related
Atari ST: Glitchy text, it's a bit better on PAL machines.
BBC: This one was upgraded with graphics and runs only on 128K machines according to the manual. Doesn't work yet in MAME because of protection/graphic issues in the drivers according to Pernod.
C64 disk: Glitches after game selection.

Not shown because of missing dumps: Apple II and MSX.

An unofficial port of this game to agat7 ("Soviet Apple II") just turned up, so perhaps a "Gotta clone 'em all" thread is in order? smile
