Hi all,

I have been trying to install 0.192 QMC2 on OSX 10.13.2. The installer runs fine, but the qmc2 directory in the Applications directory shows as not accessible. When I change permissions on the directory, I see that the directory is empty.

Any thoughts as to what the issue might be?

Thanks in advance.

Well, I tried an earlier version of qmc2, and it installed without issue; so I guess that the OSX installer package for .192 needs to be fixed.

I'm the guy who builds the Mac binaries. Haven't seen this specific issue before, although the installer is definitely broken (which is the reason for the 'app package' directory in the DMG).

What were the permissions that were set on the directory?

I really need to get around to creating a new process for building an installer. PackageManager is just way too finicky. If anyone has recommendations for other free installers to try, I'm open to suggestions!

That was kind of interesting: "Everyone" as No Access, and the only other user listed, was "Fetching...". As an fyi, I also tested the installer in 10.12.6, and had the exact same problem.

The only other version I had on my drive was 0.51 --- this installed perfectly on 10.12 and 10.13, but the binaries could not be run (kind of expected that).
