With SQL2 you actually mean QMC2, right? smile

Anyway, yes, QMC2 is also a ROM manager. Details *are* in the wiki (specifically this section) and a related video.

I have a question. Can I just rebuild just one set alone? How I get that to work without it making other sets that uses that one piece of ROM?

clrmamepro can do that. Just check that one set from the games list. (Set Information menu.)

Yes, you can rebuild a single set. Just open the context-menu in the machine list and select "Rebuild ROM". The Collection Rebuilder will then be opened with a filter statement already entered so that the single set will be rebuilt. I also think the video tutorial shows that, but I'm not 100% sure... of course, you can also specify a filter yourself.

Oh, and if you tag multiple sets, you can also select "Rebuild ROM (tagged)" from the "Machine" / "Check" menu.

You can also use clrmamepro(-compatible) fix.dat files as XML source to rebuild according to that XML. Of course, there's also an option for the other direction, that is to export to a fix.dat file (see wiki). There's even a "dry-run" mode that will gather the necessary data (to create a fix.dat file) very quickly, without producing any real output to disk.
