The Moon (Airport Extreme)
I noticed that if you minimize the AO window with the shift key down (for the Steve Jobs effect) that the music will pause part-way through, then complete when the effect is finished.

The reason I mention this is because it may be a problem for other similar things. Maybe not - I just wanted to point it out just in case.

One other thing that I've noticed about every version of Audio Overload - I think it would be useful if you press the right arrow when on the last song of a multi-track file that it would go onto the next file and if you are playing a single-track file, for it to go to the next file too when you press right. (Opposite would be true for pressing left on the first one, etc.)

I know it's just my opinion, but I think that would REALLY make it much more Mac-like.

The music breaks up in that situation because AO only buffers two seconds ahead, and the OS doesn't give it any CPU time to keep the audio going when you minimise in that fashion smile

As for jumping to the next track, I agree that this would be a nice feature. It's something I'll consider.

Same thing happens just resizing the window-- and there are visual glitches (top right corner transparency turns black, the o-scope/info insets flash...)

Those are just minor things, way overshadowed by the addition of channel toggle. wink But the pause ought to be fixable by sticking the emulation and audio feeder onto a separate thread (ThreadViewer tells me h6280_execute etc is happening in the main thread.)

And, you really don't need to draw anything if the window is hidden/minimized wink (40% time in window_draw...)

This is why it's called a beta smile

Just found a bug that I felt I should point out- the Ninja Gaiden .nsf file crashes the emulator when you try to play it. Oddly enough, this only occurs with the .nsf WITH the sound effects- the version without sound effects works fine. The version over at zophar.net DOES have the SFX, so you should use that for testing.

I've also found something strange: the 2.0B3 update seems to have broken ONE and ONLY ONE SAP file. It plays fine in B2, but in B3 it works for a split second then goes silent.

It's called Ucieczka W Nicosc.SAP . Would you like me to upload it somewhere so you can take a look?

Go for it. I would be inclined to say that this wasn't possible, but I'll test it out anyway.

It seems that the reset command doesn't work for that song.

Turn off Normalisation Precalculation in settings and the song will work correctly.

I'll fix this for beta 4.
