thanks for the fast report about cdtv. I just rechecked and it was ok after rev.2612, so it's been broken by the keyboard changes in 2613/2614

will discuss with robiza later about a proper fix, if no one fixes it before...

a temporary workaround is to move (in src/mess/drivers/amiga.c) line 174

Code:
	PORT_INCLUDE( amiga_keyboard )

to line 184 (i.e. from input port amiga_common to amiga, so that cdtv ignores keyboard reads). Anyway, to attach an Amiga keyboard to a CDTV unit was possible [1], so this would be a hack and won't be submitted.

nope, com35xp and com35xn share the exact romset. as long as you don't have new roms you can use neither of them.

and, as a general rule, if MESS says they're missing, it simply means that they're missing (exactly as it's true for MAME). no bug involved. wink

yes, cdtv is broken until new advice due to the amiga keyboard code.

and the cd issue is probably related to 124u2 changes which haven't been ported to matsucd.c

also, about the NOT_WORKING flags in general (that you mentioned earlier): usually if a system regresses from working to broken state, it's better to fill a bug report than simply add back the NOT_WORKING flag... sadly, many MESS drivers have no official maintainer, so bugs (especially when caused by core changes) could remain unfixed for some time.

Yes, I have the new roms.

comx35p/comx35n > pl80.it.em.ou.bin (8192 bytes)
comx35p/comx35n > pl80.bin (3584 bytes)
comx35p/comx35n > 80.column.card.u3 (2048 bytes) No dump exist
comx35p/comx35n > mc6845.font.u (2048 bytes) No dump exist

The content of comx35p and comx35n now absolute identical.

comx35p > rom check passed
comx35n > rom check not found

So please tell me, why it show me not found.
I never was talking about an bug, just a statement.

SVN build 30/05/2008 Revision 2769
Windows binary

Just test the driver because of this info:

[X68000] Added basic implementation of Read, Write amd Seek SASI commands. Bootable hard disk images can now be booted.

Sharp X68000 [x68000] driver

If i try to mount in GUI a SASI Hard Disk image file (.hdf), I get a crash.

Problemsignature:

AppName: messui.exe AppVer: 0.125.1.0 ModName: messlib.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 002c80cd

In emulation or by using command line, I can mount and boot Hard Disk.
Seems to be a GUI problem.

The keyboard in emulation is not working !

Yes, the keyboard needs to be hooked up to the newer MFP code at some point. In the meantime, you can use the Human68k built-in software keyboard. Right-click once to make the mouse pointer appear, and again to make the software keyboard appear. It's a pain to use, but it's better than nothing smile

For most games, you don't even need a keyboard, they will boot from startup. Just note that most only support the first 2 drives, which is the standard setup, so having disk 1 in drive A and disk 2 in drive B at boot will start it right up. Applications that use more than 2 disks will typically prompt you to insert the next disk when it needs it. If it doesn't tell you what drive to put the next disk into, then check which drive is now empty (the system can auto-eject disks).
