just compiled a Mac 32bit exe from scratch and the games work on that one as well.

so, either it's a Windows problem or is black magic...

did you both do a clean build?

A fresh pull from SVN and build fresh comes up with the same error as quoted above by Kaylee. svn r8392 - Windows XP - 32 bit.

it should work if you specify MESSUI=0
