Hey forum, im new to Nestopia but I have used ZNES and in that emulator you can "fast forward" and save and load states. Is that possible in Nestopia? If so how do I do it?

Thanks for any help.

K

I'm not sure if Nestopia has a fast-forward option, but I believe you can save and load states via F5 and F7. If it isn't F5 or F7, the hotkeys should be listed next to the relevant commands in the menu bar.

Fast forward is supported in the Mac version by pressing the "T" key.

Yes, fast-forward is supported. Go under Options -> Timing and look at the Alternative Speed (that should really be renamed "Alternate Speed" :-) ) slider.

As for what key/button enables it (only while you're holding it), go to Options -> Input, then on the left side under the "Type" column, select "Emulation". You'll find the "Alternative Speed" option there, and you can assign it to whatever joypad button or key you wish.
