I can load .2mg images (Bard's Tale II, Marble Madness, Arkanoid, ...) on apple2gs driver (Sony Port 3/4)
The apple2gsrx drivers (disk image support) seems not to work.

SVN r8229 (Windows 32-bit binary)

That was rev 8222 on win32. I also have the same problem on Mac OS X, rev 8200

Ignoring MAME exception: Device Floppy Disk [Apple] load (Apple_IIgs_Boot_Disk.2mg) failed: Invalid image
Device Floppy Disk [Apple] load (Apple_IIgs_Boot_Disk.2mg) failed: Invalid image

rev 5416 works with the same image.

Also, I tried other images...
Ignoring MAME exception: Device Floppy Disk [Apple] load (battlechess.2MG) failed: Invalid image
Device Floppy Disk [Apple] load (battlechess.2MG) failed: Invalid image

in which floppy device are you trying to load the disk? I think the sony drives have been moved compared to the very old version, try with a different -flop option

Ok, that helped, now I have this issue...
With the apple2gsr1 driver, battlechess.2mg now gives a "fatal system error 0911" where before it booted and worked.
Tested on win32 build 8222

Try it on the base apple2gs driver. The hardware emulation is a bit closer to ROM 3 right now.

SVN #8239 fixes the 0911 error for apple2gsr0 and apple2gsr1.

I really need to get the ADB microcontrollers both dumped, fiddling with the simulation is a pain.

Thanks for the fix. smile

apple2gsr1
Can now load disk images (.2mg) on Sony drive device(s) 3/4 again.

apple2gs/apple2gsr0/apple2gsr1
I can not load any disk image (.dsk, .do, .po) on Apple drive device(s) 1/2
As disk image format converter (.mg2 > .dsk, .do, .po) I use CiderPress.

I can load 5.25" images (specifically tested: "Dung Beetles") on apple2gs, apple2gsr0, and apple2gsr1. It's a bit slow (unthrottle is your friend) but it works.

Thank you for the info. smile
