Which launcher do you use to view the software snapshots?

I suggest to use QMC2 as frontend.

Here a example for QMC2 and the Neo-Geo AES software:

1.) First set the path for the software list snapshots:
Tools > Options > Frontend > Files/Directory > SW snap folder
Example: C:/Emulator/Mess/Frontend/Qmc2/Data/SWS/

2.) Create now a subfolder called "AES" in your SWS folder
C:/Emulator/Mess/Frontend/Qmc2/Data/SWS/AES

3.) Download AntoPISA`s software list snapshots for the AES machine.

4.) Extract the archive content into the AES subfolder.

5.) Select the Neo-Geo AES machine.

6.) Activate the Software list tab. QMC2 is now reading the XML software list data.

7.) Select the software/game which are listed for this machine.
