On Windows you need additional stuff in the compile tools, so we weren't planning to roll it out until 0.144u1 kicks in. But if you ask Micko nicely he might hook you up early ;-)

And by the way, I've a Mac II with Mac OS 7.6 but when I launch the TCP control panel it says that the Ethernet was not found. Any idea ?

The Asante card needs drivers installed - I used the Asante 5.2.9 installer floppy from here successfully. (Finder will complain it's damaged and offer to fix it, the fix is successful in my experience).

-nbc enetnb uses the Apple card which already has drivers built in.

OS X hosts currently do not support Ethernet at all; I will be correcting that before 0.144u1.

Replacing my Asante by an Apple enetnb card worked just fine.
About Mac OS X backend support, that's some great news.

The Pivot's video card has a DSP on it to perform the rotation when the display is vertical. Mac draws into a framebuffer in logical orientation, DSP on the card rotates it into another buffer matching the display's orientation and then it's read out with a RAMDAC. I don't know what the DSP is, though.

So there's actually two framebuffers where Quickdraw writes to one and the DSP either memcpy() or rotates it to the actual one that gets drawn?

Yeah, the cards use a DSP to do the magic. It was considered to wasteful of CPU resources to try doing it all in software.

One long-standing problem's been fixed: the SCC now returns the right things so the AppleTalk check fails instead of locking up. This means I've removed the ROM patch from the II/IIx/IIcx that force-disabled AppleTalk (the only patch in the whole driver, by the way) and it means if you boot a system disk with ATalk enabled or you enable it in the Chooser, you won't kill the emulation.

This also enables e.g. the LC III and IIvx/IIvi to boot into Finder, but there's no mouse control on those systems yet. (On the plus side, having them boot properly raises the priority of making the mouse control work).
