I can reproduce that behavior using the old version of the glsl_plain shader. Newer versions of the MAME source have an updated version of glsl_plain. In the MAME source tree, the built-in shaders are in src/osd/sdl/shader.

These are amazing! I have a dumb question, what folder do you put the CRT shaders in? I'm using Lubuntu.

Put them wherever you want and give MAME the full path.

Hate to bump. But now I'm getting "GLSL loading mame bitmap shader 1 failed" error I'm not sure what happened frown

I have just realised that mame ships some shaders in src/osd/sdl/shader and that my RPM Fusion package does not install them now. Which files do I need to include?

I believe these 4 will work for what we're talking about here:

glsl_plain.vsh
glsl_plain_idx16_lut.fsh
glsl_plain_rgb32_dir.fsh
glsl_plain_rgb32_lut.fsh

Hi everyone !

It's that time of the year again ;-) I'm afraid I lost, again, the pixel shaders scanlines (+ mask) that were provided here. All links are broken now, unfortunately !

Also, I would love to hear from you, about the combination of masks / filters you currently use :-)
