It exists in Windows and Mac, but it uses pcap which seriously hurts system performance and doesn't allow the emulated machine to see the host and vice-versa. The Mac driver went from 250% to 5% with pcap enabled, for example.

HyperCard IIgs, like the Mac version, is software, not hardware.

Next card WIP: Videx VideoTerm. (Apple II+ 40-column built-in on the left, Videx 80-column on the right).

For me, at least, pcap on Windows performs fine. I don't have a mac so I can't test it there. Does Mac OSX have a tun/tap device?

OS X does have a tun/tap device if you install a kernel extension. Looks like the installer for it's actually automated; will need to look into how you configure it after that though smile

ETA: pcap performance depends heavily on how elaborate your local LAN is, it appears. If you're just a PC plugged into a cable/DSL modem it should do OK.

What about Muffin? smile

(It copies files from 13-sector disks to 16-sector discs, for the record).

Just wondering what it was, but I found a mention of it in the Apple DOS wiki. Of course someone made a "Niffum" that does the opposite smile
