The problem of wiki is known. Label Random screenshots is leakage of the advertises. Let test tsx-11.mit.edu site. I do not wrote html escape to prevent access of the bots. It provide dns record. Please do not request such link to the sites. The wiki got a junk with link. The content of the label is born from mistake. The word ad is related to pages with ads on the click.

Be sure that is easy to do. Look at source code of ads and pass this complex activepage?ad=http://tsx-11.mit.edu thru browser. What is to got final timeout and is get into interchange of ads? The page let scrambled with some html. Who are control wiki and lost other content?

Back to topic, are we any closer on the driver list or sysinfo pages? The longer it takes to get those back online the more things like google cache will be gone.

sysinfo was, I believe, autogenerated somehow and has a ridiculous quantity of links; I took a look at the google cache/archive.org thing and pretty much gave up right there; I could stick the page back without the driver links, but that's it.

nope. it was imported from sysinfo.dat but then it got updated in the wiki for a couple of years. no autogeneration at all inolved (from which source btw?)

and for the record most of its content (a page for each system supported by MESS ~2006 and some additional pages added more recently) were written by myself manually during my first winter in Norway

the good news is that, except for recent additions to mac infos, most of the content is still in current sysinfo.dat
it would be nice however to get rid of the content borrowed from wikipedia, for licensing reasons (I had most of those entries rewritten in the MESS wiki, but I fear some of the wikipedia content is still in the dat)
