Well Im back on Snow Leopard (10.6.8) and after reinstalling my system decided to rebuild my MAME and now its stopping during compiling with this:
src/lib/lib7z/CpuArch.c: In function ‘x86cpuid_CheckAndRead’: src/lib/lib7z/CpuArch.c:75: error: can't find a register in class ‘BREG’ while reloading ‘asm’ src/lib/lib7z/CpuArch.c:75: error: can't find a register in class ‘BREG’ while reloading ‘asm’ src/lib/lib7z/CpuArch.c:75: error: ‘asm’ operand has impossible constraints src/lib/lib7z/CpuArch.c:75: error: ‘asm’ operand has impossible constraints make: *** [obj/sdl/lib/lib7z/CpuArch.o] Error 1
Tried the PTR64=1 option for kicks but still the same thing.. I seem to vaguely remember some previous troubles with 7zip but couldnt find anything on here or through a google search.. Luckily the 0.146 I built on Lion just a couple days ago still seems to work under Snow Leopard so at least Im up and running so far but Id like to get rid of the error and get it to build if I can... This is just 0.146, not u1 btw.. Im sticking to just the baselines nowadays as I dont have the time to keep updating my rom sets everytime a new release comes out hehehe.
