Regarding Stiletto's criticism, I think that when the lower-left part of the M would cover the U (provided the angles fit) it might account to the first two of his items. And yes, the U could be slightly broader perhaps.

Now that I look at it, the bottom part of the U should also be the same thickness of the bottom part of the E. And I still don't understand why the uprights taper... Trying to merge both the 45 degree angles and the 25 degree angles into one letter? DON'T DO THAT.

I like that it's wider now, probably should be a little more yet. Liking it better though.

The bottom line on the E compared to the top lone looks not harmoniously for me.
Just a fast draft. The 3 diagonal lines behind the E stands for speed and the 3 words for the emulator.
