BTW, it doesn't make a difference when compiling, but at run-time. So you could continue to use Qt 4.8.3 at compile-time and use the "old" Qt 4.8.2 DLLs at run-time. This works as well.

SVN r4349:
  • fix: corrected remapping of key-sequences using the Command key on Mac OS X
  • fix: the key-sequence scanner now also scans num-pad keys
  • imp: Mac OS X: replaced key-sequence 'Ctrl-O' with 'Ctrl+,' (commonly used short-cut for "open preferences dialog"); 'Ctrl-O' can now be used for its actual use case on Mac OS X ("open/activate item")
Note that in Qt the 'Ctrl' key is the 'Command' key on Mac OS X.

Specifically for Shideravan smile (SVN r4359):
  • imp: system- and software-notes: template loading allows asynchronous URL retrieval now (i.e. remote image URLs), indicating the current progress while loading

Yes, we're playing with templates with power smile

I'm actually surprised no one asked for this yet (so before Shideravan asks for it, I've added it smile ), SVN r4371:
  • imp: system-notes templates: added new macros for ROM status texts ($ROM_STATUS$ and $ROM_STATUS_UT$)
The macros will be replaced with the usual ROM status texts that are used throughout QMC2 (either translated or untranslated), that is 'correct', 'incorrect' and so on...

Important changes since yesterday (SVN r4374):
  • fix: HTML editor: avoid flicker when the corner-widget content changes
  • fix: system- and software-notes templates: convert special characters used for certain macros to HTML-notation (that is, the HTML meta-chars <, >, & and " will be replaced by valid HTML entities)
  • imp: use database transactions to speed up DB updates [found out that the SQLite (3+) driver actually supports transactions, which is really nice!]

Code:
$EMU_INFO$ Emulator info DB entry (from MAME mameinfo.dat / MESS messinfo.dat)
$EMU_INFO_STATUS$	Status of the emulator info DB entry (OK / NO_DATA)

Cool smile
That also will be very useful when support to command.dat comes wink

Cookies were no option for template-settings since they don't work on the client-side only (Chrome seems to support this through a hack aka '--enable-file-cookies', but I won't start fiddling with that), so here's the correct replacement for it (SVN r4379):
  • new: added support for HTML5 'localStorage' to the MiniWebBrowser and notes-templates (this allows templates to store and retrieve local settings)
QMC2 will automatically create a sub-folder called 'LocalStorage' in its configuration path when web-applications (or templates) want to store some key/value pairs. The files in this folder will be named after the 'origin' of the web-app, or in case of a local file (i.e. a template) will be called 'file__X.localstorage'.

PS: I'm currently using the default quota of 5 MB (for ALL localStorage)... it should actually be more than enough but could be made customizable at a later stage if required.
