In collecting video games to dump, I've not surprisingly come to own a lot of rare boxes, instructions, etc. I've been wanting to scan everything for awhile, and have had some time lately to make a dent in it. I'll be posting links to the scans I make. They're 300dpi color PNGs. I haven't done any sort of cleanup on them. Feel free to download, share, use in your projects, and so on.

First off is scans of everything I have for the Epoch Super Cassette Vision.

For black and white documentation which doesn't use excessive halftoning or have extremely fine detail in grey colors, I find scanning at 800dpi bilevel, then using ccitt group4 compression (lossless, only works on bilevel images) on the resulting image results in a fairly small filesize but very legible image.

Try to set your scanning software so it does not apply dithering to bilevel scans, but instead uses a threshhold of the incoming greyscale data. (Silverfast does this by default)

At least for Super Cassette vision, there isn't anything that's completely black and white.

Next up, the Microvision. This is a system that really needs artwork support, since each game has an overlay that is often essential to understanding the game.

The shortname for the cartridges is already defined?
I don't know how this driver will work yet, but I was thinking in a similar vectrex approach (multiple interchangeable layers).

It looks like there's no software list at the moment.

Unfortunatelly, most of the links are broken frown
