Hi all,

I am currently playing around with the Amstrad PC1640 emulation and stumbled over one showstopper (aside graphical bugs).

I got the german install disks for the amstrad and creaated a new 20mb harddisc,

setup is no problem the emulated pc boots without problems ( hey i can even add soundcards - yay!).

Now to my problem:

on the german layout there is no \ key,

on the original amstrad (i owned one from 1989 - 1991, had given it away to friends then) you could press ctrl-alt-ß key to get the char (on us keyboard the key right of 0).

This does not work in Mame.

Anybody knows a work around except for disabling the german layout?

alt-92 works for the moment, but is not the workaround i am looking for

For me it's located on the <>| key next to the German Y key in the bottom left half of the keyboard. Press left Strg-left Alt and the aforementioned key, and you've got \
