What's the word on emulation.net?
I get redirected to KOMKON or something... doesn't seem to have much directly related to emulation. I recognised one name, Marat Fayzullin... but that's about it.
Does anyone know what happened to emulation.net?

I can't say for sure, but emulation.net has been updated less and less frequently over the last 5 or 6 years. I think it's gone nearly a year without an update, hasn't it? John Stiles probably just stopped support for it all together.
Isn't Komkon a Korean website or server? I do remember that when I first got into emulation in 1997/98 it seemed like damn well near everything linked to Komkon.

The old site has been pretty much abandoned; for the newer site on a different server, go here: http://emulation.victoly.com/ Of course, it's still not very up to date, but atleast it's into 2005.

I believe my Yahoo Group had covered the news about the Emulator Enhancer deal the day it was posted on Richard's site.  I need members, I post up to the minute news guys and gals..

That wasn't nice. If I knew HTML I would host a nice site. I have been running that Emulation group for years. I had 100 people at one time.

Yeah, and not everyone can afford a real server, either (and a box at home on DSL/cable isn't a real server).

C'mon guys... tongue in cheek here.
I'm saying... if you need a real server... let me know. I'd be glad to host it along with installation of any off the shelf open-source software you need to make updating it easier for you.
No charge, etc. I can't give back much to the community, but occasionally my (real- not cable box) server comes in handy... to donate some space for cool arcade related stuff. I know not everyone can afford a real server. THat's why I'm offering the space.
