I had searched around the forums for solutions for 2-stick games such as one of my favorites, Battlezone. I usually run macmame on my TV, and wanted a wireless controller for the games.
I read elsewhere about Logitech's cordless rumblepad 2 and compatibility with macMAME. So for $25, I thought I would give it a try.
Bottom line, when combined with USB Overdrive, the Logitech controller performs very well with MAME on my mac (G4, 400MHz, 10.3.9), and, to my delight, I was able to configure it for Battlezone!
Because USB Overdrive sees the right hand stick on the controller as a "z-axis", I was able to assign the default Battlezone keys for the right stick (I and K) to that stick, and configure the game to use up and down for the left stick.
