10.39/QT 7.04/iTunes 6.02 here:
Followed the downgrade link;
Even before the installer finished downgrading QT I opened MacMame successfully. (I was bored)

.074 would open under 7.04.. 7.03 works after re-upgrading QT. .074/.057 still best speed for um, classic programs. . but that's OT. smile

iTunes 6.02=no difference, but then I didn't install it normally (extracted from installer)

This problem happens with the last two versions of MM. I am also on 10.3.9 and upgraded to QT 7.0.4 with Itunes 602. Repaired permissions, etc. In the interests of info here's a detailed error report from my Mac's log.

It's conclusive now - QuickTime 7.0.4 and 10.3.9 = MacMAME no workie. Either downgrade QuickTime or upgrade to 10.4.x.

Go to ~/Library/Preferences and delete anything beginning with org.macmame

A "reset preferences" button would be a nice addition to MacMAME someday. smile

I wouldn't mind a "Trash NVRAM" button myself.

And a "Delete Config" button, so you could pick a game in the list, and remove it's cfg file. (A "Delete Default Config" option would be nice, too.)

Why yes... I am lazy. Thanks for asking. wink
