It all started after the Flip4Mac plugin installation, I think. MacMame and all flash websites has no sound now. Have these things something in common? Quicktime, perhaps?
Trashed Flip4mac, all the related preferences, reinstalled Flash player 8 and the shockwave full installer....no deal!

I'm really tired and disappointed, please could you help?

Thanks

This is about the fifth time I've said this on this forum, but I'll say it again: make sure your audio output format is set to 44100kHz 16bit in Audio MIDI Setup. Setting this too high is almost always the culprit for these "no audio" problems.

Ok, I'm not a god but neither a rookie. Audio is set to 44Khz. Thanks, anyway

D'oh, so that didn't fix it. Is the default sound output device set correctly in Sound in System Preferences?

Yes. But the thing that drives me crazy is the
muting of flash sites.....what's happening?. My Flash standalone player is mute too, damn
