I was just checking out the games for sale at Vintage Arcade Superstore.

For those unaware of this place, it's located in Glendale, CA, and is generally packed with classic arcade games for sale. Some are in pretty poor shape (they will restore them for a price), but they've got some seriously cool inventory right now, including some real rarities:

Blaster (in the cylindrical cabinet)
I, Robot
Major Havoc (dedicated - not a conversion)
Speed Freak
Warrior (I may have to drive down just to look at this one)

A few personal favorites:
Battlezone
Gorf
Bosconian
Tempest
Omega Race

And tons more. If you're in the LA area, give 'em a call and stop by. They're really nice people, and it's quite a trip to see so many classics stuffed into one place.

I would stick with the Gorf. It's like Space Invaders, Galaxian, and two other games all rolled up into one (you wont get bored). You get to advance through the stages (as is with all the classics). You know exactly how you are doing at any given point in the game. And, the game's commentary throws out idle insults which will keep you coming back for more (much like Wizard of War did). What could be better?
