This site has finally been updated. SF just got their act together today.

Dave,

I've been away from the forum for sometime and am now back after migrating from PowerPC to Intel. Really impressed with MAME OS X thus far. And look forward to seeing where you're taking this project.

Cheers,

John

Fighter's History no longer works properly like it did in 0.111-1. After you select a character, it either crashes MAME OS X or the game itself goes back to the title screen.

I don't know if this is a Mac-specific bug or if this is also present in the PC builds, but I thought I'd bring it up anyway.

The same thing happens in SDLMAME 0.112, so I assume it's a problem with mainline MAME. Haven't tried the official Windows build myself, though.

Dave, I registered in this forum just to say "thanks!' You finally give me a way to play OutRun! (MacMAME is too slow to run OutRun in Intel Mac).

If you need any beta tester, let me know.

PS: Isn't MAME X a much stronger name than MAME OS X?

MAME-X is already taken by a XBox port and X-MAME is the Unix/Linux version. How's that for added confusion ?
