Ola, sent you an email.

Also, I've been updating the wiki page for undumped games, could you please have a look at the M5 section and see if I'm missing something?
http://www.mess.org/dumping/games_needed?&#sord_m5

I only considered the japanese releases, because I'm not really sure what had an european release. If you could help with that would be great.

The european releases was:
1. Tank Battalion
2. Step Up
3. Guttang Gottong
4. Heavy Boxing
5. Super Cobra
6. Real Tennis
7. Poo-Yan
8. Wordmaze
9. Wonder Hole
10. UpUpBalloon
B1/E. Fruit Search
B2/E. Dragon Attack

As you see, they are numbered differently than the japanese releases. There's also CGL releases in the UK, which I believe are exactly the same as these above.
CGL also made some tape games that was unique I think.

I didn't see any email yet, not even in my spam folder.

Here's another cart for the Sord that I would like to get my hands on, it's some kind of demo cart for stores I guess:

Thanks, I'll check what's still undumped and update the list. Do you think you can help with some of the euro dumps? I know you already dumped Step Up, but not sure about any others.

Yeah I know about those CGL tapes, not sure how many there are though, I think I have seen 6 different ones. Tried to buy a few recently, but had no luck.

Weird that you didn't get the email, unless I'm sending it to the wrong address? I'm sending it through a pm here.

The Sega Game Gear Game Genie is not listed in the GG XML, is it dumped? I haven't seen any evidence that it is.

I'm going to be selling some of my games/systems that are now emulated. Is there further need for the Bandai Supervision 8000? Emulation seems to work well. Ideally we might want a better look at the board, but it was such a mess of soldered wires inside that no one volunteered to take a crack at it before.

Don't sell that Supervision without scanning all the carts first! smile

I believe the emulated colors for some games aren't right, I mean those that are emulated in black and white. I suppose you don't have a way to check that? Because from the videos and pictures I've seen the white seems closer to yellow to me.

Maybe take some hi-res pictures of the board just in case? Just saying since it's such a rare system that might be better to keep some documentation about it.

See if this guy will buy it, then we can get some nice pictures at least (he does boards too).

From message #92158 (Jan. 4, 2014):

"Here's a set of photos I made of the console opened up.

http://www.mediafire.com/download/f3oxgmb3wma9ubd/Supervision_8000_Opened.zip

It's a rather odd mess of wires inside, and I wasn't able to get a great view of both sides of the PCB. I'm not sure that would be possible without desoldering some of the wires, and I didn't trust myself to be able to put it back together again. I could identify some of the components, though--NEC D78C (Z80 family CPU, 3.58 MHz according to that website), AY-3-8910 sound chip, S68047P video chip, and NEC D8255C I/O chip."

I have scanned the carts and instructions. I need to take some photos of the system box, then I can upload everything I have.

I found a low-res picture of the PCB on this site:

http://www.ne.jp/asahi/cvs/odyssey/videogames/sv8000/setframe.html

Click "System" on the bottom of the page.

I've never tried to hook it up. The pictures that are out there leave me a little confused about the colors. For example, the pictures on this page show Othello as white on blue:

http://www.videogameconsolelibrary.com/pg70-super_vision.htm#page=games

This video looks to me like yellow on black:
