Can anyone point me to a page or tell me briefly how to run MAME OS X? I'm familiar with MacMAME, and know about needing to have certain files in specific locations. I also have X-Ray available to convert all of the ".zip" files so that they will associate with MAME OS X. Each time I have tried to run MAME OS X, an error appears, saying "Game Not Found (directory path here)" and "Closest matches: popbounc [Pop 'n Bounce / Gapporin] fa [F/A (Japan)] groundfx [Ground Effects / Super Ground Effects (Japan)] ... ". This happens with every game. Even dragging the ROM from the Finder into the field for "Run Game - Enter Game Name:" does not work. It still reports the same error(s).

Any detailed help or reference to a page with specific instructions would be greatly appreciated. In advance, thank you.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but have you taken a look at the applications help? I just fired it up and it has all about the directories, what goes where and how to run it etc.

Let us know if you're still struggling. It may be a rom compatibility problem.
