This gets the characters and backgrounds largely working on PowerPC systems. The text layer doesn't draw (so no health bars) but it's playable.

Get the replacement file here. Unzip it, copy the resulting cps3.c to src/mame/drivers in your SDLMAME setup, and recompile. Folks on Intel don't need to bother smile

ETA: fixed the colors, and improved the link ;-)

I'm uploading the binary to my website in a few moments. Also, I've included sven's latest sdl code which should fix the window resizing issues too.

Runs extremely fast on my 2x2.5 G5. It is kinda interesting to play without title bars though. I'm often suprised when I win or lose a match.

After some comparison, I think the sound effects quality in the PPC build is inferior. I'm guessing this is also an endian issue that will get fixed down the line.
