Brad Oliver,

After reading this post, I got to thinking... Perhaps it'd be nice to put some kind of notice on macmame.org which lets folks know there is an up-to-date and Universal Binary alternative. Just a thought...

FWIW, mame.net used to point to MacMAME also, but that's since been recitifed :-) If VersionTracker also gets updated (I notice it doesn't seem to list MAME OS X) than I'd say we're pretty good.

I got a reply back saying that they received my notification. But here we are several days later, and they have yet to add a listing for MAME OS X. This, among other reasons, is why I favor Macupdate.com nowadays.

I got the following today:

Quote:

Dear Chris,

Thanks! I have added the listing to today's front page, and we'll track this specific emulator for updates from now on. Maybe even better than MacUpdate. :-)

The form you used actually went to our tech support department, and with the CNET buyout, we've all been a little swamped. I know there's no way to know this, but if you have a content question, you should e-mail info@versiontracker.com instead. It'll get read faster and it goes to the right people.

Have a nice weekend.
