Is it possible to only show a list of available ROMs from
the ROM directory that is selected (I remember that this
was possible in MacMAME)? I have looked through all
preferences and menu items, and cannot find a way to
only show ROMS that I have for MAME OS X that are
Available. For some reason, it shows a listing of ROMs
including many, many that I don't even have. Is there a
way to filter, to show only ROMs that I have available in
the selected folder?

Yes, try the "Good" filter.

"Good" filter does not work. Already have tried this many times
without any success. When selecting the "Good" filter, the list
remains empty.

Yes it does work.

It simply means that all your ROMs are bad (or outdated).

Why not download a ROM that is known to be working, like one of these legal ones, and see if it shows up under Good?

The roms need to be audited first (mame os x should do this automatically) to be seen on the 'good' filter, just leave mame os x running on the background for awhile.
