Hmm, hacking a soundtest into a game is pretty much what this support would look like, so I'll give him a buzz too.

Any Mega Drive implementation would best be left to AO, maybe?
There wasn't when I checked a public list of memory triggers like there is for the Sega Master System/Game Gear.

This might worth adding if there is such inclination. laugh

From a technical point of view, it actually makes more sense to do it in M1. Really smile

I've PM'd DJSW over on VGRebirth, so we'll see what he knows too.

Sorry if I missed a previous post about this but it looks like (at least) OutRun doesn't play. I'm not sure what else that could include (game wise).

Edit: or is that problem this v?

ETA: I see I somehow lost the games for several drivers[1] when assembling the m1.xml for this release (it's basically Tafoid's 12/22 version with the NA-1/2 games added in). We'll get that sorted soon.

I'll assume it is in the meantime. blush

But the SCSP games sound great. Thanks! cool

don't know if it could be of use/help, but recently (september) drx released a lot of GEMS related goodies...

you can look for it in a palace hidden in the world wide web... (google is your friend)

Reported. Model 1/2 games all seem to play fine here.

The Outrun/X/Y thing's already fixed - if nothing else comes up I'll update all the binaries with that later. Model 1 seems fine to me, if there's a specific game point it out.

etabeta: would you mind PMing me the details? smile

ETA: Tom: yeah, in particular the Psikyo games (Pilot Kids, Zero Gunner) that really stretch the SCSP beyond simple sample playback sound *much* better now than they used to.

Does the research on getting Genesis games playing have any bearing on System C? I remember something about a non-working Thunder Force AC driver at one point.

AMUSE had a driver for some System C games, I don't recall if it actually worked. I ported it to M1 but couldn't get it going. Maybe if Phil's bored he can look at it since he seems to be good at seeing through my ancient mistakes ;-)
