BTW, in case it isn't obvious, I'd like to see a list of GEMS-using games that *don't* pass this program. There are a lot of versions of GEMS and there are many ways to code the same thing on the 68000, so "catching them all" will be interesting.

If someone doesn't do the list by weekend, I should have time to do so.

Here is the first run through the HAZEMD (Genesis/Mega Drive only) collection. If you need data added or put in differently, please let me know.

If we're using this with something else than M1 - shouldn't it have it's own topic? crazy

Unless I missed something.

Perfect, thanks!

ETA: definitely a few more GEMS versions lurking out there - more of them are now recognized.

ETA2: new gems.zip is up with a revised program - could you do that batch run again with it? Also, the C source is included for 68000-minded hackers out there who want to improve it further.

Tom: please read the thread again, paying attention to the part where I say this is for an M1 driver wink

Hmm... Well, I had it opened in cmd prompt, dragged and dropped a zipped hazemd rom into it and got: SEGA signature not found, maybe not correct?

Then unzipped the bin file, then dragged and dropped and got: Couldn't find Z80 program, probably not GEMS?

Right, the ROM has to be unzipped and it must be a game that's listed as using the GEMS driver on this wiki page.

The original exe would falsely not recognize some versions of GEMS - the newest one knows about more versions and should at least find the Z80 program.

Finally ripped that Victorious Nine PC-88 version. Sounds pretty bad when compared to the arcade version.

What sounds awesome is Sharp X1 version of Gradius. This is especially true considering most of the songs use only 2 channels of YM2149. O_O

Nice. Can you post an MP3 or something? I love exotic Konami remixes smile
