I tried Daytona, 18 Wheeler and Sega Rally last night, but unfortunately they didn't run at all (gdi files). I was met with the please insert game disc message even after resetting (F3). The log window mentioned something about a subchannel data error? Yesterday I atleast got the funky coloured Sega logo. Nice to see a few other games showing a bit though!

It has to be Japan region - dcjp and Japan region GDI files. US and PAL don't work.

Great seeing work done on Dreamcast emulation in Mess, has there been any progress on recompiling sh-4 cpu emulation for some much needed speed?

nice progress!
2 Xor: believe me, more or less accurate PowerVR2 GPU (software) emulation requires much much much more CPU power than emulation of just a 200Mhz SuperH CPU, so...

Found some better compis images here. They're raw but seem to load when converted to D88.
