AFAIK, if the chips are already emulated you simply need to make XML file entries for unemulated games, and you don't really need the source for that I think.

This is partially true. The XML only can reference pre-programmed 'profiles' in the source. If a certain profile (cpu/audio combo) does not exist, you will likely not be able to produce sound from a set of audio/sample roms. There are new games being added, but at a very slow rate right now as there has not been much development with M1 in the last few months. It's mostly rom fixes and changes based on the MAME changes - lately

Will post results and XML for sure here

"Profile" isn't right - it's more like a MAME driver.

No luck, the SemiCom games I was trying to add do not have the boards supported... Try to hook on Snow Bros. board without any success.

Yeah. I was hoping to get the second sound cpu in bk2k working by shoving it into the NARC driver (which uses a similar dual sound cpu system to bk2k) but it doesn't work.
The bk2k driver needs to be tweaked to have both the 6809 'main' and 6808? 'voice' cpu. each cpu has a dac and an h55536 attached. only the 'main' cpu has a ym2151. Very much like NARC. Currently the roms for both cpus are loaded into the address space of one 6809.
Without the second sound cpu working, the action samples and voice samples in bk2k don't work, just the yamaha and drum samples which are handled by the main cpu.
