Get it at the homepage.

This is a nice quiet release - no SDL-specific changes and baseline's mostly bugfixes. The value of my shipping full source is proven once again because seta2.c in the official release is MSVC-only :P

Smoke tested on Fedora 10 (x64) and Mac OS X 10.5.6 (Intel).

Cool, thanks for the update.

I read in the documentation that you put MESS' Archimedes driver into MAME.

Were there any arcade games based on that architecture?

Yes, there are a few Archimedes-based porn games (which I think were also available for the computer itself) and an entire line of gambling/fruit machines (the "Aristrocrat MK5"). Hopefully having it in MAME will help it progress better.

This piqued my curiosity... MSVC lets you use "main" as a local variable name?

Yeah. "main" is I guess not an official reserved word, but it's arguably a bad idea to use it for variables (especially ones with > local scope).

So I'll preface by saying I have probably not compiled SDLMAME in a year so I am slowly trying to find out what has changed since then. cool I made a G5 optimized build on my PowerMac G5 2.5 / NVIDIA 6800U.

Immediately I noticed some issues navigating the UI. The keyboard is somewhat unresponsive. If I type in a game name some letters are almost always missed. I also can't seem to toggle through the different slider controls, but with the UI changes maybe I am doing something wrong. Sometimes up/down in the UI menus do not respond. This is with games that I get >300% speed no throttle. Keyboard responsiveness is horrid on games that are less than 100%. I have not noticed this issue in game having pulled off dragon punch moves in games just fine.
