I have been a away for a long time and am now just getting back into MAME. Question: Where does one store the ZIP (rom) files for MAME OS X?

I am not familiar with this OS X version. I looked at the documentation on the MAME OS X but nothing mentions it. Thanks.

Feels good to be back.

In your main MAME folder (not your home directory) you would keep a folder called ROMs; I think you can keep it in your home directory and create an alias or symlink, but MAME OS X checks in its own directory for that, artwork, and sound samples. Not also there's been no updates since .124 so if you want the latest and greatest you'll need to make the switch to SDL MAME
