News:

* SDLMAME 0.134.
* Kernel 2.6.29.6-desktop-2mnb.
* Added a new PIAPARA LiveCD builder with windows and buttons!
* Added an option to start a single game every time instead start AdvanceMENU.
* New SDLMAME pause shortcut for PIAPARA/joystick users: P1 START + P1 B2 + P2 START + P2 B2.

Fixes:

* Fixed AdvanceMENU to show the correct full name of the set/parent before SDLMAME starts.

Help:

* I need a better support from you, users! Please be more participative at the blog and at Sourceforge!

Observation:

* Please remove the default.cfg from your pendrive / harddisk if you want to have the pause shortcut to be enabled.

Your project is intriguing, but is there anyway to make your CD work properly with a standard VGA analog monitor? Advancemenu displays properly, but the games have strange resolutions and sometime are moved to the right such that the original right side of the screen wraps around to the left side.

PIAPARA LiveCD is designed for low resolution monitors. So, you can try to use higher resolutions by using a high pixel clock. Give yourself a try with all video options. They are the key to success.

Thanks for you interest in the project.

Can I use kde to set up frequencies in arcade monitors or have I use framebuffer and Advancedmenu?

You must use http://lrmc.sourceforge.net/ and generate X11 modelines for the xorg.conf file. You can use even proprietary drivers instead of framebuffer driver under X11. As I know, it works fine with nvidia proprietary driver and opengl support too.
