Atari 800XL started showing some signs of life after implementing memory handling. And some of my favourite Atari games are already working correctly cool

Not really smile Atari XL/XE computers were extremely popular here in Poland in early 1990s. This was my first computer, I learned programming with it (in 6502 assembly as BASIC was too slow) and reverse engineering (to find infinite lives and other cheats in my favorite games wink ).

I noticed when we implemented .SAP music in Audio Overload that the really good stuff was all from Poland circa 1992. Pokey tunes tend to sound more fresh than typical AY/SID/NES PSGs because the weird waveforms give it a very unique sound.

It's been brought to my attention that a number of aftermarket OS upgrades were produced for the 800XL and other models, see here and here (section 7.2). There are a bunch of dumps floating around so it would be nice to get it all in MESS....

AFAICT those are just drop-in ROM replacements so a little -bios list action should cover it.
