0.145 built successfully on OSX 10.5.8 PPC with SDL 1.2.15..

Sadly (actually not so sadly) this is my last compile for PPC as Ive managed to score a first gen quad Mac Pro for $500 on ebay last week and am just waiting for it to arrive.. Now Im only 4 years behind!!

A first-gen quad Mac Pro should run Supermodel spectacularly. And it won't be bad for MAME, either ;-) Especially coming from PPC.

Im hoping it keeps me going for awhile hehe. Now I can finally start updating all my recording software past 2008. (And I can finally try out Mr Bannisters BSNES too!!) laugh

Plus I found out the first gen you can actually swap out cpus so for another $200 or so and some patience on ebay I can grab some Clovertown's and make it an 8 core 2.66 or 3Ghz machine..

Had a couple customers come in to work last week and drop off their old PC's for 'recycling'.. We just ship em off to be disposed of so I opened em up and grabbed 4 1GB PC5300 sticks out of em so as soon as that thing gets here Ive got an extra 4GB waiting to pop into it too!

Now I just have to wait for the thing to actually show up!! Still debating whether I want to keep Lion on it or wipe it and go back to Snow Leopard..

I'd keep Lion. With SDL 1.2.15 out there's no longer a downside for emulators, nearly everything people commonly bitch about can be made to go away in the Control Panel, and Snow Leopard doesn't gain you any functionality. For instance, oldschool HFS image mounting for read/write (very useful for interoperability with emulators) was last in 10.5.8. Snow Leopard went read-only.

Just tested successfully the latest 0145 on Debian Squeeze. Thanx for another stable release (the 1st one for 2012) and happy 15th anniversary to all the MAME developers - keep up the good work! laugh

Same here. Everything works fine unless I try to compile the MAME tools. Make quits giving me this error message:
