Until you see JD say it's fixed, it's not.

It appears to be 32-bit only - 64-bit compiles run fine. (Note: a 64-bit OS is not sufficient, you must build for 64-bit).

Ohh, a very useful info for me. smile

I have 3 questions :

1.) I have to install the mingw-mame-w64-20100102.exe (64-bit only) binaries for the easy way, right ?
2.) To start the compilation, I can start with: make TARGET=mess (like for the 32-bit version) ?
3.) I have no any problems to start/use all compiled binaries on 32-bit OS ?

I see, 64-bit compiles not run on 32-bit OS.
So I can not test. smile

In summary:
1. If you have a 32-bit OS, you can only use a 32-bit build.
2. If you have a 64-bit OS, often you can use either the 32-bit build or a 64-bit build, but the 64-bit build has distinct performance advantages.

Is there an auto build for the 64-bit version? I'm assuming that Bob's build is 32-bit.
