Hmmm... I use MAMETunes with every new release of MAME without incident (and , I might add, with the 'Easy' settings checked)...

Are you using the latest version of MAMETunes? (4.0.2)?

Are your paths properly set in the 'Preferences' section?

Can you audit a single ROM Set?

Do you need/would you like a set-up guide for MAMETunes?

Oh, right, I did write that, didn't I?

I've been meaning to re-write it, but the only major change is import the MAME ROM list as text (and not as XML).

(Hmmm... I wonder what else I've written, and subsequently forgotten about... )

So.....
I have been able to import the ROMs list (as a text not XML file).
The "ROMs" folder in the main SDLMAME Directory.
But, when I try to audit the ROMs, terminal gives me the following:

Looks like your SDL framework is too old (either you have a PPC version that's not Intel compatible or an early Intel version that's 32-bit while your machine is now 64-bit). Trash your /Library/Frameworks/SDL folder and download and extract the latest as described:

Go to http://www.libsdl.org/ , and click the "SDL 1.2" download link in the sidebar, then scroll down to "Mac OS X" under "Runtime Libraries". Download the "SDL-1.2.14.dmg" disk image and open it.

Click 'Macintosh HD' (or whatever your Mac's hard disk is named) in the left pane of a Finder window, then open the Library folder and drag the SDL.framework folder from the SDL disk image into the 'Frameworks' folder.
