I'm using M1 0.7.4b with BridgeM1 0.5.4 (FoxM1 crashes when it tried to start, but that's a different issue) and most of the songs I've tried to play sounded exactly like MAME. Except the Taito F3 games.

When trying to play music from games such as Puchi Carat or Puzzle Bobble 3, the music sounds generally screwed up. Some sounds are off-pitch, some are played too later or too soon, some sounds even seem to appear out of nowhere. Is this a known issue, something I'm doing wrong, an issue with my PC or something else entirely?

Edit: Forgot to say, Taito F3 games eventually get stuck on a note (doesn't seem to matter which) which keeps playing no matter which track I switch to, stopping any other music from playing until I load a different game or exit BridgeM1.

Yeah, and after a while any given track on the Taito F3 hardware will eventually and randomly just go completely silent. It isn't the best, most bug-free driver in M1, go listen to m1 tumblep 9 instead. wink

The readme says the F3 driver is broken - generally it works for 2-3 minutes and then you need to close the app. Please read the readme before posting. End of thread.

PS: Random sounds in F3 games were due to incorrect banking as also exhibited in older versions of MAME or RAINE. Use the public beta core to get rid of most of those.
