I think Paint 3D actually does have some sort of perspective correction, but yeah, Photoshop would likely do it better.

I think adding an angle/perspective might look weird, I'd just do it flat have a look at how Madrigal did it on his simulator looks good that way imo.

Yes, I guess it'll have to be flat..

I've uploaded a new set of Tiger Electronics bezels and remade all of the old ones. 39 games in total. I'm sure there'll be wrong colours in the backgrounds and the circles. Can't really tell what they're supposed to look like without seeing the real thing. Some games came out better-looking than others.

Doesn't look so weird to me, although I'm not sure if this would be possible to achieve without 3D artwork:

And here's Madrigal's, which kind of looks like a different system, in comparison:

EDIT: Wow, didn't remember how noticeable those punched dots in the screen used to be, in certain G&W units: https://www.ebay.com/itm/NINTENDO-G...VINTAGE-RARE-SAME-DAY-SHIP-/183769769012

The crt-geom shader has a tilt function, which perfectly fits into this example here. The first pictures just need a removal for the little fisheye effect.

These two pics are pretty close of what I think it would look like, as the screen seems straight on:

Basically... if the screen is in the parallel plane to you, the top of the control panel is slightly tilted toward you; if the control panel is in the parallel plane to you, the bottom of the screen is tilted away slightly.

Unless you are trying to be really strict about things, I don't see why not set the artwork and screen both to be all even and parallel, and let the end user choose to tilt the screen or not.

Also a good YT video here, that shows all 5 at various angles:

And in addition to the full, you could include a cropped-in view, that is just the screen and bezel.

Also... the Tabletop versions that also have a Panorama version (DK Jr., Snoopy, and Popeye) are supposedly the same artwork and ROM, so those could have multiple views (not that I'm trying to lay more work on you).

RELAX and just have fun.

I'm still no wiser how to do it. If you could knock up a complete example with the tilt that would be great, but then you may as well do this artwork )

I've uploaded Elektronika's Merry Cook and updated the other Elektronika and Tronica games again.

The buttons look kinda shitty on the edges. I don't know why they look like this scaled down.

The artwork looks great! Nice work smile

Merry Chef was added to MAME yesterday. This game is a Soviet clone of G&W Chef and the ROM is most likely the same (still needs to be confirmed though).

just do them with the screen straight on for now, but make sure to keep a copy of the unit non-distorted art for the rest of the unit (if they have to be adjusted at all to get the screen straight) so that when MAME does have full 3d modelling capabilities it's easy to convert it all into textures so that the user can choose their own angle etc.

I think the best thing might be a conventional bezel. Something custom so that it can't look wrong. Same with the tabletop games. But for the panoramic ones, a logo and buttons should suffice. Nothing too fancy.
