Wasn't Nintendo 64 driver supposed to be region locked, as the real hardware?
While Jap/US version is much like the same hardware (despite a plastic indent in the cartridge slot to avoid N64 owners to use Jap cart in US consoles and vice versa, which I believe that isn't in the scope of emulation) but PAL version have a little differences in hardware, for display in PAL system, doesn't it?

IIRC there's 2 drivers, n64 and n64pal, which emulate the timing and pif differences. The actual CIC<->PIF region-locking interaction isn't emulated yet.

There's no driver for PAL or PAL-M N64 yet.

The PAL boot ROM is dumped, but the driver would need some minor changes to work with the different resolution.

The PAL-M boot ROM is not dumped (as far as I know), but the hardware is similar enough that it could probably drop right into the NTSC driver.

Yeah, about that, I don't really care. Emulating a different N64 region seems like the definition of pointless when most games don't remotely run full-speed on modern machines. I think I'll continue concentrating on speed improvements.

The only issue is that some EU games refuse to boot on the NTSC driver, like The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

Doesn't make any sense try to run EU and JP on a US. Unless you have a modded machine with a mod chip or some crap. Run MESS for your life. laugh
