there is not much to say. he has done a lot for the project and now that he wants to leave it for some time we respect his choice.
we hope that he can find some fresh motivation after current burnout washes out and that his next occupation won't keep him 100% busy...

As for "explaining" my intentions, I'd say keep it to yourself guys. I can very well explain myself if needed.
Usually such changes, do trigger some discussion. I thought it deserved a thread.
