QMC2 0.65 has been released.

See http://qmc2.batcom-it.net/index.php/2016/07/01/qmc2-0-65-released/ for details!

Trivial problem in the emulator log:
Code:
17:01:25.785: stdout[#0]: MAME v0.175 (unknown)
17:01:25.785: stdout[#0]: Copyright Nicola Salmoria and the MAME team
17:01:25.785: stdout[#0]: Lua 5.3.2 Copyright (C) 1994-2015 Lua.org, PUC-Rio
17:01:26.197: stderr[#0]: qsound.bin ROM NEEDS REDUMP
17:01:26.197: stderr[#0]: WARNING: the machine might not run correctly.
17:01:53.183: stdout[#0]: > Average speed: 100.00% (14 seconds)

unknown appears using 0.175 even with 0.64.

Well, that has nothing to do with QMC2.

Mac build working great as usual here. Only hiccup was this was the first time I had to actually copy the app from the App Bundle folder. For some reason it updated qchdman and qmc2-arcade but not the original app. Oh well, still works either way.

I don't know if this is the correct place to post bugs but here we go. When you create a new device mapping and try to run the game on the bottom list with a mouse double-clicking, the game won't execute and the path to the file will disappear from the picker box, so you will have to seek the file again. When running the game through the keyboard, the game runs fine.

Steps to reproduce:

Create a new game device mapping under the "Devices"/"Device Mappings". Put the name of the game and select the rom file with the picker. Save this mapping and try to execute the game by double-clicking the name of the game in the bottom list. It will lose the rompath and fails loading the game.

It happens with a clean installation of the latest QMC2 / MAME versions.

I have experienced similar issues OSX 10.11.5.

I'll have a look later. This sounds like an older bug though, not related to changes in 0.65.

No, this works as expected / designed here on Linux. It's either Mac OS X specific (?) or... I don't know.

Wait, I *can* reproduce this, but only directly after the slot-info cache gets created... in that case I can reproduce this bug. But once the cache is created it works fine, though.

EDIT: it doesn't seem to happen all the time, which makes this harder to find.

I meanwhile also saw it when I was "jumping" between multiple device configurations during my tests.

I *think* it's fixed in SVN r7653. At least I'm no longer able to reproduce it now smile.
