Hi,

I use hbmame.exe 0.183 and try to create a FIX.DAT-File for my ROM-Collection.
I use QMC2 v0.183 (32-Bit) on 32-Bit Win10.
If I try ROMAlyzer (system mode) with wildcard * than Export to Data file greyed out.
If I try ROMAlyzer (system mode) with wildcard death* (which checks/lists 1 set) than Export to Data file is working / I can save a FIX.DAT-file.
If I try ROMAlyzer (system mode) with wildcard fi* (which checks/lists 4 sets) than Export to Data file greyed out.

What am I doing wrong?

Regards,

Luzie

This "Export to data file" action will only be available when there's at least one ROM or CHD wrong or missing (after it has been analyzed).

It's actually better to use the newer check-sum scanner to scan your ROM (and update) paths, and then use the Collection Rebuilder in "dry run" mode so you can get a complete fix.dat very quickly.

We're searching for QMC2 translators and support for existing translations. Interested? See here!

Sorry, I don´t yet figure out how to do a "check-sum scanner-run", so I had to read the manuals.
But it´s unlogically for me, that when I run a "Dry-run" with wildcard * (=All ROMs) no missing ones are listed (and "Export to datafile" is greyed out), and when I use e.g. wildcard death*, one ROM I miss in Death Star (deathstar) set is listed.
