Good morning all !

Is it possible to have the floppy drive sound for the Commodore 64 in MAME ? For the Color Computer it is original... how to add it for the C64 ?

Thanks best regards !

The Amiga drivers have floppy sound support. Perhaps you can take a look at the driver and see how it's implemented.

The C64 has floppy sound, you may need to turn up the volume to hear it.

No, as it seems, the c1541.cpp needs a "connector.enable_sound(true);" in device_add_mconfig (after line 988).

(BTW, we need samples from the real 1541; the current samples are from another drive.)
