I'm trying to record gaming sessions of Mega Drive games using MAME. I'm using the -aviwrite cmd line option but I've found out that its behaviour has changed.
When it has been included in MAME a while ago, it was doing this: video recording in the native machine resolution without filtering, not even bilinear. Now, it's always recording video with all the artworks enabled at emulation resolution and bilinear filter enabled. How can I go back to the initial behaviour?

There are a number of ini file options that control what videos and snapshots do. -snapsize controls the output resolution, -snapview controls if artwork is in the image, and -snapbilinear controls filtering.

"-snapview native" did the trick. Thanks for pointing me to the good options. And for whoever maintains the doc section of mamedev, thanks to him as well
